This guide is based on official information from Formula 1, the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix organizer, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the Las Vegas Monorail and U.S. government travel guidance, all checked on October 23, 2026. Use the current organizer information for your zone entrance and race-week access; check again shortly before travel.

When is the Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026, in local time?

The organizer labels its timetable ALL TIMES PST. The local times below use America/Los_Angeles, UTC−8 for these November dates. Because it is a night race, sessions start late afternoon and run into the evening, which also means unusual viewing hours for fans following from Europe or Asia.

Source: the official Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026 schedule (checked October 23, 2026). Note that some web views show times in your own time zone, which is why a few sites list "November 20–22". The local dates are November 19–21. Recheck the timetable a week before travel.

If your ticket includes Thursday, aim to arrive by Wednesday, November 18. Long-haul flights and big time differences make same-day arrival risky.

Check your U.S. entry documents before booking

The requirements depend on your nationality, passport and circumstances. Check the Department of State Visa Waiver Program guidance rather than assuming every international visitor uses ESTA. Eligible VWP travellers still need ESTA approval and must meet the programme's requirements. Other entry arrangements can apply to particular nationalities or statuses.

Indonesian passport holders are not covered by the VWP country list. For an ordinary tourist visit using an Indonesian passport, check the appropriate visitor visa and whether any visa you already hold is suitable. USAGov explains the visitor visa process. A race ticket does not replace immigration documents.

  • If you need a new visa, check the official application process and appointment availability before committing to non-refundable travel. Do not assume a four-week window is sufficient.
  • Check passport and transit requirements for the entire itinerary. Keep your booking details available without sharing document numbers publicly.

Where is the circuit and how do you get to your zone?

According to Formula 1, the Las Vegas Strip Circuit is a 6.201 km (about 3.8-mile) street circuit with 17 turns, raced over 50 laps. It uses public roads around Las Vegas Boulevard, so every spectator zone has its own access route and roads close in stages during race week.

What the organizer and transport operators have confirmed:

  • Entrance details are sent by zone. The official F1 Las Vegas FAQ says ticketed guests receive zone-specific emails, and entrance details appear in the F1 Las Vegas app with a wayfinding map. Don't rely on maps from previous years.
  • Check the Monorail route and current hours. The operator's station guide lists seven stations: MGM Grand, Horseshoe/Paris, Flamingo/Caesars Palace, Harrah's/The LINQ, Boingo Station at LVCC, Westgate and SAHARA Las Vegas. Check which serves your zone and whether its access route is open. The organiser’s 2026 A–Z guide schedules nonstop Monorail service from 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 17 to 3:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, local time. Recheck for changes before your return journey.
  • The LVCVA suggests using rideshare or the monorail to get near your zone and warns about closures and traffic delays. See the Visit Las Vegas F1 page.

A simple plan: find your zone on the ticket, look up the nearest monorail station or rideshare point in the official app, and keep a walking route as a backup. After the race ends late at night, expect long queues for rides. Agree on a meeting point with your group before you go in.

Which apps should you set up before you fly?

AppWhat it's forNeeds data?
F1 Las Vegas (official event app)Ticket management, wayfinding and zone informationOnline for updates; check permitted wallet access
Rideshare appBooking a car to a designated pickup pointYes; usually phone verification too
Maps (Google Maps/Apple Maps)Walking routes, hotel and station locationsOnline for current routes; save a separate route note
Airline appBoarding passes and schedule changesYes
Messaging/emailZone emails from the organizer, group coordinationYes

The official FAQ describes ticket management and wallet access through the F1 Las Vegas app. Follow the instructions for your purchase and check any transfer restrictions. Install it at home, sign in with the same account you used to buy tickets, and save them to your wallet if that option is available.

Do not assume a data eSIM includes a U.S. number, calls or SMS. Verification follows the number or method registered on your account; an eSIM does not reroute OTPs automatically. Keep access to the registered number, or use another verification method only where the service permits it. Our guide to using a travel eSIM alongside your primary SIM explains the setup.

Plan data around the whole trip

Count the days from your first U.S. arrival through departure, including transfers and sightseeing. Then separate essential online tasks from optional uploads. A plan sized only for three sessions can expire before your airport journey home.

  • Essential: account access, event updates, maps, transport bookings and messages.
  • Optional: full-resolution photo uploads, video calls, cloud backups and large app updates.
  • Additional devices: check whether tethering is permitted on the selected plan before relying on a laptop connection.

Use the travel data planning guide to build your own estimate. Its scenarios are editorial assumptions, not measured circuit usage. Monitor actual consumption after arrival and keep a reserve for the return journey. Network performance in a crowd cannot be guaranteed; data access is not permission to livestream.

Check the selected eSIM before departure

Compare current plan details rather than relying on a saved price table. Check coverage for every destination, validity, data allowance, any daily high-speed limit and the stated conditions after that limit. Do not assume that all plans labelled unlimited or all plans for one country have identical terms.

Check eSIM support on your exact device variant and carrier-unlock status before purchase. Installation, activation and the start of validity can be different stages; follow the selected plan's instructions. Keep the instructions and support details accessible, and do not delete a profile or reuse its QR code without confirmation that the plan permits it.

Save the hotel address, zone name and a meeting point separately from live maps. Google notes that offline Google Maps does not provide walking or public-transport directions. A downloaded area is a backup, not a promise that live routing will work without data.

Pre-flight checklist

  1. Confirm your ESTA or visa and passport validity.
  2. Note the session times in Las Vegas time and in your home time zone.
  3. Install the F1 Las Vegas app, sign in to your ticket account and watch for your zone email.
  4. Make sure your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked, then prepare installation according to the selected plan instructions. Do not assume validity always starts on arrival.
  5. Download an offline map of the Strip area and save your hotel address.
  6. Pack a warm layer. These are night sessions in November.
  7. Set a group meeting point in case phones or batteries die, and check the current rules before packing a power bank or other equipment.

Before heading to the circuit, test that the intended data line works. Check the selected plan instructions if it does not, and avoid deleting a profile as your first troubleshooting step.

Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026 FAQ

Is the Las Vegas Monorail running during the race?

The organiser’s 2026 A–Z guide schedules nonstop service from November 17 at 7:00 a.m. to November 23 at 3:00 a.m., local time. Recheck the operator and event notices before travel, and confirm the station access for your ticket zone.

Can under-18s attend?

The official FAQ says attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older. Check the ticket terms for your specific zone as well.

Does a Corelinx eSIM give me a U.S. phone number?

Do not assume a data plan includes a local number or SMS. Check its inclusions and keep access to your account’s registered verification method.

Will I have a strong signal at the circuit?

No provider can guarantee speeds in a very large crowd. Save tickets and maps offline, and upload videos once you are somewhere less busy.

Stay connected in Las Vegas

Once your entry documents, tickets and hotel are sorted, set up mobile data before you fly for access to the official app, maps and rideshare where coverage and service are available. Choose a plan that matches your week on the Corelinx USA eSIM page, follow its installation and activation instructions, and check the data line after reaching the covered destination.
