Is the travel map free?
Yes. It is free, with no sign-up and no app to install. The map and the place data come from open sources: OpenStreetMap, Wikidata and Wikipedia.
How are the must-see places chosen?
From places listed on Wikidata (sights, museums, temples, mosques, parks), ranked by how many Wikipedia language editions have an article about them. It reflects how well known a place is, not paid placement or reviews.
How reliable is the halal filter?
A restaurant is marked halal when its OpenStreetMap data says so (a halal tag or 'halal' in its name or cuisine). Coverage differs by city, so always confirm with the restaurant.
Can I use it for a city that is not in the list?
Yes. Search any city or area, use 'Near me', or move the map and tap 'Search this area'.
